On-going Duties of the Worship Committee
Change and maintain sanctuary paramants.
Arrange Advent candle lighting schedule.
Coordinate and train acolytes.
Obtain greeters for each service.
Recruit, schedule, and train ushers.
Maintain Communion table candles.
Maintain the contents of the pew racks.
Arrange Baptismal gift for presentation.
Arrange for an Elder to assist with the Sacrament of Baptism.
Prepare Elders to participate in the Sacrament of Baptism.
Present Baptisms and weddings to Session for approval.
Recommend to Session changes in worship or liturgy.
Recommend to Session times and types of special services and programs.
Be responsible for the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper - time, personnel and preparations.
Arrange for liturgists for services to assist the pastor(s) in worship.
Arrange for pulpit supply in the absence of the Pastor.
Maintain the sanctuary in good order and keep current.
Arrange for and assemble Christmas Eve candles and luminaria
