Personnel

The role and mission of the Personnel Committee is to support the work and ministry of the church through effective personnel administration in cooperation with the Head of Staff, to create a supportive relationship with the staff, and to provide another communication link between the staff, boards, and the congregation.  The Personnel Committee will seek to provide an open, caring climate that encourages broad participation, shared influence, and assured confidentiality.

As a communication link to the congregation, staff, and boards, you may contact the Personnel Committee through Debbie Hicks, Chair, with your comments, concerns, and suggestions.

Eastridge Presbyterian Job Descriptions

ORGANIST JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  Performs organ and keyboard music for Sunday morning worship and other special services and acts as primary accompanist for assigned choirs.  Presents music ministry in a professional and worshipful manner.

 

SUNDAY CUSTODIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To provide custodial service on Sunday mornings or for other special events assists custodial staff, other church staff and members as needed. 

 

ASSOCIATE PASTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To work the Head of Staff to provide worship, spiritual growth, and counseling for members of the congregation and others.  To communicate to the community the programs available at the church in order to raise awareness our church and its programs.  To encourage participation in church spiritual life by word and deed.  To equip the laity to use their talents in service of God.

 

DIRECTOR OF YOUTH JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To provide leadership, counsel, and guidance for middle and senior high youth worship and spiritual growth; to develop relationships and share personal faith in Jesus Christ with young people

 

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To plan, develop and supervise the Christian music ministry in accordance with the policies and direction of the Session.

 

DIRECTOR OF CHRISTIAN ED JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To plan, develop, and supervise the Christian Education Ministry.

 

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To supervise all administrative support staff members, coordinate all church business functions, maintain the financial records, and coordinate the use and maintenance of church facilities and grounds.

 

CUSTODIAN-SET UP JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  Performs moderately complex custodial work.  Work involves maintaining custodial equipment; requesting supplies; participating in performing minor building and equipment repairs and installations; and cleaning and caring for building and premises.

 

CUSTODIAN-CLEANING JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To perform moderately complex custodial work.  Work involves cleaning and caring for building and premises; participating in performing minor building and equipment repairs and installations; and maintaining custodial equipment; requesting supplies.

 

CHILDCARE PROVIDER JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  Provide quality care for children whose parents or guardians are attending worship or other church functions.


ASSISTANT SECRETARY JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To provide secretarial and receptionist support to the ministers and professional church staff as assigned by the Administrative Assistant

 

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:  To provide secretarial and administrative support to church staff and organizations.  To coordinate the business affairs of the church with appropriate committees of Session.
