Fellowship at Eastridge

Fellowship is a key component to being a part of Body of Christ. There are many opportunities for fellowship at Eastridge.

Upcoming Fellowship Events
All events are without charge until there is amount noted. Events are open to all, so bring a friend or come and meet a friend.

In addition to these monthly activities, we also have the following opportunities for participating in fellowship with fellow believers :

Nametags
You'll see nametags being worn by many of your fellow worshipers. How many times have you wanted to greet someone by name, but it wouldn't come to your tongue. Your problems are solved. If you don't already have a nametag in the drawers on the black table in the Welcome Center, just write your name on the form and Karen Frazier will make you one ASAP.

Fun Fotos!

Watch on the website and Bulletin Board in the CE Wing for photos of all the fun activities we've enjoyed together. Mary Alice will be adding pictures after events. You'll see someone you know.

Hope Renewed Group
When people go through the trauma, hurts, and grief of divorce, it affects their children, their emotions, their faith, and every other aspect of their lives. For Christians who find themselves in this situation there are added traumas AND added support ~ from God and from the fellowship of believers surrounding them. A new group has started meeting every two weeks at Eastridge to provide this Christian support to women in our congregation and beyond. The name of the group is “Hope Renewed: Support for women experiencing separation or divorce”, chosen by the first fifteen members of the group in order to emphasize the strong focus on families, faith, the future, and moving forward. At each meeting we discuss “something I’ve learned”, “a question I still have” and offer prayer requests. Those with the need for counseling or other services beyond the scope of this group can ask for help in locating someone who can meet that need. Confidentiality and support are stressed.

God never promised us the absence of pain in this life – only the presence of His love, and the support of other believers. If you, or someone you know, could benefit from this group, please call Lori (483-7792), Sandy (489-5613) or Connie (421-7833) to find out when we are meeting next. Meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7:00pm and childcare is provided.

Pairs & Spares
Potluck supper is enjoyed by senior singles and couples each month at the church. This group meets on the third Saturday of each month at 6:30pm in Huxtable Lounge.

Trailblazers
Trailblazers meet on the third Friday of the month (except June, July & August) for a meal, fellowship and outings, and service projects. Trailblazers are mostly empty-nesters or grandparents.
