A Children’s Music Director is needed at Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a part time position starting in late August of 2006. The Children’s Handbell Director will be responsible for a 2nd to 5th grade Hand Chime Choir. Experience with Handbells and children’s choirs is desired. Job responsibilities are from late August through May, with summers off. The Handbell choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They play approximately once every 5 weeks in worship. Eastridge Presbyterian Church is looking for a piano accompanist for their Cherub Choir (K – 2nd grade). You will be required to attend Wednesday evening rehearsals from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and be in worship on the Sundays that the choir is scheduled to sing. The Cherub Choir sings one time per month in worship. Compensation is $72 per month or approximately $18 per hour.
