And next time you see Jan Mitchell, thank her for her dedication in posting the devotions each day!
Be sure to keep your web browser up-to-date. There are two good reasons for this:
1. The new EPC pages might not appear formatted correctly in older web browsers.
2. An up-to-date browser can help protect you from viruses, worms, and other nasty things that could wreak havoc upon your computer.
For Windows users - If you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer as your browser, be sure you're using at least Version 6. You can check which version you're using by starting the browser, clicking the “Help” button on the menu, and then chosing “About Internet Explorer”. It should say “Version: 6.XXXX”. If it says “Version: 5.XXXX” or lower, you should upgrade.
To upgrade, simply click on the “Start” button, then “Windows Update”. Follow the instructions from then on. (You may get a warning window asking if you want to install Windows Update - click the “Yes” button and continue).
Of course, you could be counter-cultural and
use the Firefox browser instead of Internet Explorer. It's free, conforms more closely to web standards, and it's not as susceptible to security threats as Internet Explorer. You can download Firefox
here.
