Men's Fellowship Breakfast

Every Wednesday morning at 6:45 am some eight to twelve men gather at the church for breakfast. We take turns preparing the meal, which can vary from cold cereal and milk, to pancakes, to fancy casseroles that some might suspect were prepared by spouses. Each of us contributes $3.00 to the basket and the cook is reimbursed. Following breakfast whoever volunteered for the program leads us in a discussion of anything of his choice from current events to his most recent vacation or trip. We have no organization, but we do have traditions. We begin each morning with the day’s reading from the Mission Yearbook for Prayer & Study, and close promptly at 7:30 with the singing of The Lord’s Prayer. In December we use leftover funds to purchase flannel shirts for the residents of Lancaster Manor. We would be pleased to have you join us. Your first visit is free.
