In class: Edible cell models, a Bolivian animal research project, microscopes, the book Frindle, a chapel program on creation and evolution, measuring Noah's ark, acting out plays, math games, a P.E. game with a rubber chicken and lots of laughter are just some of things the fifth graders have squeezed into the first month and a half of school.
By the numbers:
Seven of my students are Bolivian, one is Canadian, one is Bolivian/American, and two are Canadian/American. Four of the eleven are MK's (Missionary Kids). There are seven girls and four boys. In science we learned that all eleven are able to roll their tongues while their teacher can't. Eight have non-attached earlobes and three have attached earlobes. No matter what the numbers...Together they make up ONE FABULOUS CLASS!
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect...
